At Cornerstone CPA’s, everything we do is for our clients.  Beginning with our founder, Randy Nattress, we have been assisting people from the Foothills for over 40 years.  Michael Kuntz joined Randy in 2002, became a partner in 2008, and with Randy’s retirement in January 2019, now operates the firm as a sole practitioner.  We continue to work with families, entrepreneurs and privately-held companies across a wide range of industries to help them build value, protect wealth, and generate sustainable results.  Through an integrated and collaborative approach that goes beyond the numbers, we build long-term relationships and provide the expertise to guide you through each step of your professional and personal journey.

Michael’s expertise spans across industries which include professional services, real estate, retail, construction, agriculture, not-for-profit, and many more.  Michael articled with KPMG and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1993.

Sharla Valette, CPA

Sharla joined Cornerstone in 2022 with over 10 years of financial management in healthcare and professional sports. Her desire was to work in public practice and obtain her CPA designation which she successfully achieved in January 2025. Her focus remains in public practice where she is currently enrolled in the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program.

After being away from Okotoks for five years, Jeannette has returned to work at Cornerstone. Jeanette has a wide range of bookkeeping skills and experiences which contribute to her penchant to be efficient and precise.
